Our instrumentation is two trumpets (and the standard auxiliary instruments), trombone, and tuba.

Here are some categories of works we already use frequently or plan to use in the near future (in no particular order):

  • Shorter (3-5 minute) works in commercial/jazz/popular styles

  • Works featuring one of the instruments in the group (trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, piccolo trumpet, trombone, or tuba)

  • Works for brass quartet featuring an additional solo instrument or voice (any instrument, voice type, or narrated)

  • Works for brass quartet and organ (suitable for concert and/or liturgical use)

  • Works for children’s concerts

  • Church service prelude/postlude/offertory/special music pieces based on well-known hymn tunes (going beyond simple transcriptions), with or without organ.

  • Multi-movement works that could anchor a concert half (10-12 minutes).
